Measuring data and systems
The Institute is equipped with latest instruments, extensive data, evaluation and simulation models that can be harnessed through separate agreements for various issues in the area of environment, climate and energy research. The offers range from submitting own measurement data to performance of complex measurements and model studies . Interested parties should contact the head of the Institute.
Please follow the basic rules for the supply of data, models and equipment of the IMK (Department Troposphere Research) to third parties.
Measuring Data
The Institute only offers measuring data which are acquired by own measuring programs and model studies. Data will be delivered free of charge for research purposes (handling fees are possible) and with costs for commercial use. A price list for the commercial use of data can be requested at the Institute.
Global weather and climate data available from other relevant institutions, for Germany often from the German Weather Service (DWD).
