About me

Research

As a postdoc within project C4 of the Transregional Collaborative Research Center Waves to Weather („Predictability of European heat waves“), I am investigating how different physical processes affect the forecast quality and the predictability of European heatwaves. In this ongoing research, I am currently shifting my focus from the effect of more local diabatic processes on short-term maximum temperature predictions to the role of large-scale atmospheric dynamics in medium-range forecasts.
