Welcome Sebastian Vergara Palacio

Sebastian will investigate dust-induced heterogeneous ice nucleation and its dependence on dust particle size and composition. For this purpose, he will conduct laboratory and field measurements and combine the observational results with theoretical process understanding to advance existing parameterizations for use in ICON-ART.
