About My Research

My research is focused on the phase distribution in mixed-phase clouds. With the aim of improving the knowledge of mixed-phase clouds, I sort them in different cloud types and make statistics on their thermodynamic phase and related parameters with a global as well as a regional approach. I compare several satellite and global climate model data-sets to emphasize the similarities and the differences between observations and simulations, and therefore to find what should be improved in global climate models for a better representation of mixed-phase clouds.
